Veterans often make good farmers — they know hard work and quiet farms can be healing. This Veterans Day, two Organic Valley farmers share about their time in the service and returning to the farm, and how each impacted their lives.

Organic Valley welcomed about 65 goats to its campus in Cashton, Wisconsin. The goats are nibbling away invasive species as part of a project to restore a prairie and rare oak savanna. The goats provide an eco-friendly solution to clearing unwanted plants and shrubs.
